Gregory
Alvin Hachtel, age 43, of Friendship, Wisconsin died
unexpectedly due to an accident on June 15, 2008.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday at
Roseberry�s Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on
Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Friendship
Congregational Bible Church in Friendship, Wisconsin with
visitation one hour prior to service. Pastor Richard Church
will officiate.
Gregory was born March 11, 1965 in Fort Atkinson,
Wisconsin the son of Alvin Gerald and Lois I. Hachtel. He
attended Fort Atkinson High School until his Junior year
then graduated from Adams-Friendship High School in 1983.
Following high school Greg attended Mid-State Technical
College completing the Automotive Technician course and
later earning his ASE Master Technician certification. He
pursued his love of the automotive field and eventually
opened his own business, GMJ Automotive in February of 2006.
Greg married Melissa Jean Leinweber on June 6, 1987 in
Friendship, Wisconsin. Their marriage
was blessed with three children. Together as a family they
enjoyed camping, boating, fishing and traveling to many
different states while vacationing. Greg loved "big" dogs
and enjoyed spending time walking in the creek with them.
One of his recent projects was rebuilding a 1987 Monte Carlo
SS with his son Jacob. Greg also enjoyed making special
trips to Cold Stone Creamery with his daughter Madelyn. He
loved to ride his motorcycle and he and Melissa enjoyed
taking many scenic trips.
He
was preceded in death by: his
father, Alvin G. Hachtel and his daughter, Lydia Elise
Hachtel.
