Dorothy
L. Hutsler, age 76, of Arkdale, Wisconsin passed away at
home on June 2, 2008 in Arkdale, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 9,
2008 at the Necedah United Methodist Church in Necedah,
Wisconsin. Rev. Stephanie Taylor Homann will officiate.
Interment will be at the Huntley Cemetery, Huntley,
Illinois.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. on Monday at the Church.
Dorothy was born January 2, 1932 in Marysville,
California to John Rupert Hale and Martha Heckart. After
graduating from Lincoln High School Class of 1949, in
Missouri, she worked for the United Telephone Company in
Lincoln as an operator. She was introduced to John Hutsler
by her brother Hicky and they later married on August 12,
1951 in Urbana, Missouri. This marriage was blessed with
five children. In 1968 Dorothy and John moved to Huntly
Illinois and in 1999 moved to Arkdale. Dorothy was a member
of the Necedah United Methodist Church and taught Sunday
School for many years in Missouri, Illinois and Wisconsin.
Her most enjoyable times were the times that she spent with
her grandchildren. She was always busy sewing and making
quilts for the grandkids as well as many others. Dorothy
enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her "Weiner
Dogs".
She was preceded in death
by: her parents, her son John Clay Hutsler III, and her
brother Waldo Rupert Hale (Hicky).
