Bessie E. Steberl (nee Cook), age 94, of Adams, Wisconsin died Friday, March 21, 2008 at the Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Interment will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Racine, Wisconsin.

Bessie was born December 1, 1913 in Racine, Wisconsin to William and Antoinette (Geb) Cook.

She married Joseph Victor Steberl on September 5, 1931 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Racine, WI. The couple lived and raised their family in Racine. Bessie worked Western Printing Co. in Racine, WI.  Bessie moved to Friendship, WI in 2000.

Bessie enjoyed reading, gardening, knitting, and playing the organ.

Bessie was a member of St. Joseph�s Catholic Church in Friendship, WI.

Bessie was preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Joseph; Brother, George; and Sister, Elsie.

Great-Grandchildren: Kristen, Lauren, Shana, Stephen, Bobbi, Sammi, Tommi, Thomasha, and Emery

Step-Grandchildren: Roger, Andy, Amy, and Christopher

Great-Great-Grandchild: Trenton
