Alan
Bartram, age 92, of New Chester township, was called Home
October 27, 2008 at his home.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon on Thursday, October
30, 2008 at Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship,
Wisconsin. Pastor Dwight Condon will officiate. Interment
will be at the Hancock Cemetery, Hancock, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on
Thursday at the Funeral Home.
Alan was born July 28, 1916 in a log cabin in Hancock,
Wisconsin to Albert and Aletha (Hepburn) Bartram.
He graduated from school in Montello, WI. Alan farmed in
Montello, WI. with his parents and brothers until the family
moved to Grand Marsh, WI over 68 years ago. Alan raised
crops and cattle on his farm. He took care of his parents,
and his brother and sister-in-law when they were ill. Alan
retired from farming in 1995.
He married his wife Sharon on June 30, 1995 in New
Chester, WI.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The
Alzheimer�s Association, Hospice Touch, Faith in Action and
the New Chester Volunteer Fire Department and First
Responders.
