Corliss "Bud" Hayes, age 70, of Adams, Wisconsin went to
be with the Lord on October 3, 2008 at the University of
Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October
10, 2008 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship,
Wisconsin. Interment will be at the Mt. Repose
Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin. Military rites will be
offered at the graveside service by the Adams County Honor
Squad.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and
again from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Friday
at Roseberry's Funeral Home.
Bud was born October 18, 1937 in Adams County, Wisconsin
the son of Corliss J. Hayes and Isabell Morley.
He enlisted in the United States Navy at the age of 17
and after serving his country for four years he returned to
Adams County where he lived and worked his entire life.
Bud worked at Castle Rock Container for many years as
well as the Adams County Garage.
He enjoyed helping friends and family with yard work and
tasks of many that enlightened him and brought fulfillment
to his life.
He
was preceded in death by his
Father, Corliss Hayes; Mother: Isabell "Isy" Morley;
Stepfather: Donald Morley; Sisters: Joyce Brogan and LaRieta
"Rita" Rickel; and Step-Brother: Richard Morley.
Survivors:
Sister: LaVerne "Verne" (Darrell) Klicko of Lake Delton,
Wisconsin
Sister: Clara
"Jean" (Phillip) Testerman of Springfield, Missouri
Step-Brother: Tom
(Esther) Morley of Kenosha, Wisconsin
