Gertrude L. Kasdorf, age 97, of Monroe Center, died
October 7, 2008 at the Strawberry Lane Medical &
Rehabilitation Center in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon on Sunday, October
12, 2008 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship,
Wisconsin. Pastor Sam Downey will officiate. Visitation will
be 11:00 a.m. on Sunday at Roseberry's Funeral Home.
Gertrude was born June 4, 1911 in Monroe Center,
Wisconsin to John and Bonnie Renner. She attended Joe
Davis County School in Illinois. Gertrude married
Wilbur Kasdorf on December 30, 1944 in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
Gertrude stayed at home to raise their three children.
She had many fond memories of going to barn dances and
listening to music as a young girl.
Gertrude enjoyed animals and gardening.
She was preceded in death by
her parents;
husband, Wilbur Kasdorf; son,
Stephen Kasdorf; 10 brothers and sisters and two great
grandchildren.
