Maryana Shukster, age 90, of Friendship, Wisconsin died
Friday, October 31, 2008 at the Villa Pines Living Center in
Friendship, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8,
2008 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Friendship,
Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will officiate.
Interment will be at the Quincy Cemetery, Town of Quincy,
Adams County, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. until the time of service on
Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Maryana was born January 1, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois. She
married Alexander Shukster on February 26, 1938 in Chicago,
IL. The couple lived and worked in Chicago, IL moving to
Rockford, IL in 1947. The family was blessed with two
girls. Maryana and family moved to Friendship in 1971.
Maryana worked at Adams County Memorial Hospital for several
years as a food service worker and housekeeper until her
retirement.
Maryana enjoyed visiting with her family and friends and had
a special love for the dogs in her life.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family
who will be donating to help out the Adams County Humane
Society.
Maryana was preceded in death by parents; husband,
Alexander Shukster; and her brothers and sisters.
