Charles "Chuck" Arthur Wortz, age 52, of Friendship,
Wisconsin passed away August 18, 2008.
Memorial services will be 12 Noon on Sunday, September 28th,
2008 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship,
Wisconsin. Visitation will be Sunday, September 28th from
10a.m. until the time of service at 12 Noon at Roseberry�s.
Charles was born August 21, 1955 in Blue Island, Illinois
the son of Arthur and Diane (McCoy) Wortz. He grew up in
Midlothian, IL with his family. Charles served for four
years in the United States Navy. He married Karen Marie
Bywater on June 12, 1976 in Illinois. Charles worked for
Union Pacific Railroad for 30 years, moving to Friendship in
1994. He worked as the Mechanic in Charge for the railroad
based in the Adams area.
Charles enjoyed muskie fishing, making lures, boating,
camping, auto shows, coaching his children�s sports, and
family activities.
Charles was a member of Muskies Inc., Southside Muskie
Hawks Chapter, and Operation Lifesaver at the Union Pacific
Railroad.
He was preceded in death by: His parents, Arthur and
Diane (McCoy) Wortz.
