Thelma Elaine Bolster, age 82, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin died Saturday, April 18, 2009 at her home following a long battle with cancer.

Memorial services will be 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin.   Rev. Gary Olson will officiate.  Friends may pay their respects at Roseberry's Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the time of service.

Thelma was born March 7, 1927 in Taylorville, Illinois to Harvey N. and Edna T. (Holvey) Basham. She graduated from Taylorville High School in 1945. Thelma married John N. Bolster on May 16, 1957 in Waukegan, Illinois. She worked as a telephone operator for Illinois Bell and later at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center, where she worked for 13 years before retiring in 1980. Thelma and John then moved to Grand Marsh, WI.

Thelma enjoyed roller skating, high school band, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Thelma was a Girl Scout Leader.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, and son-in-law, Patrick C. O'Donnell.
