Ione R. Thamke, age 78, of Jefferson, formerly of Adams
Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly on February 21, 2009 at
her home in Jefferson,
Wisconsin.
Interment will be at the Easton Cemetery Easton, Wisconsin
at a later date.
Ione was born July 28, 1930 in Watertown, Wisconsin to
Hilbert and Erna (Wilke) Gronert.
She graduated from Watertown high school in 1948.
Ione married Virgil Thamke on October 16, 1954 in Concord,
Wisconsin.
She enjoyed crocheting, feeding the birds, watching wildlife,
baking,
and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
her husband, Virgil;
parents, Hilbert & Erna Gronert;
sister, Ethel Cloute;
brother, Kenneth Gronert;
sister, Hazel Gronert; and sister, Ruby Gronert.
