Sofus F. Challoner, age 77, of Coloma, Wisconsin passed away
January 11, 2009 at his home in Coloma,
Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday,
January 15, 2009 at Roseberry's Funeral
Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Sam Downey will
officiate. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the time of
service on Thursday at Roseberry's Funeral Home.
Sofus was born May 17, 1931 in Big Flats, Wisconsin to Frank
and Blanche (West) Challoner.
He married Arlene M. Leach on February 2, 1957 in Hancock,
Wisconsin.
Sofus was a pulp cutter, he enjoyed trap shooting, hunting,
snowmobiling and driving four wheeler.
He
was preceded in death by his
parents, Frank & Blanche;
brothers: Stanley
and
Wallace; and
sister, Mildred.
