Laverne D. Jung, age 83, of
Adams, Wisconsin passed away July 31, 2009 at the Moundview
Memorial Hospital & Clinics in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Memorial services will be held at Dunlap Memorial Home 604
S. Main Street, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on Thursday, August
6, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. on
Thursday until the time of service at Dunlap Memorial Home.
Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Atkinson,
Wisconsin.
Laverne was born November 6, 1925 in Jefferson, Wisconsin
to Melvin and Inez (Gerhardt) Jung. He married Elaine Haas
on November 27, 1948 in Jefferson, Wisconsin.
When he was able to Laverne enjoyed being outdoors
hunting and fishing. He spent many hours in his workshop
woodworking on projects for others. He loved watching sports
on t.v.
Laverne was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn
Steiner; brother, Duane Jung; parents, Inez and Melvin Jung;
and grandson, Robert Hollinger.
