John Phillip Kohlmeyer Sr., age 82, of Quincy Township, Wisconsin passed away July 8, 2009 at his home.

Funeral services will be 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2009 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin.   Pastor Karyn Bodenschatz will officiate. 

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until time of the service on Monday at Roseberry's Funeral Home. 

John was born July 16, 1926 in Reedsburg, Wisconsin to Edward and Caroline (Westedt) Kohlmeyer. John married Beverley A. Beard on October 20, 1962 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church Round Lake, IL. This marriage was blessed with four children.

John was employed with his brother as a transmission specialist in Round Lake, IL. John was a past member of the Greater Round Lake Fire Protection District. He also served on the Round Lake and Round Lake Beach Village Boards.  After his retirement John and Beverley moved to Quincy Township, Wisconsin.

John enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing.

John was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Kohlmeyer and sister-in-law, Patricia Kohlmeyer.

Grandchild:  Brandon Perry of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin

Nephew: Michael (Danette) Kohlmeyer and their son Austin of Round Lake, IL
