Grace H. Schulz, age 82, of
Port Washington (formerly of Adams-Friendship), Wisconsin
died peacefully Saturday, June 6, 2009 at her home.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of Mass, with a
Rosary will be held at 11:45 a.m., on Thursday at St. Joseph
Catholic Church.
Memorial services will be 12 Noon on Thursday, June 11,
2009 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Friendship,
Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Interment
will be at the St. Leo�s Catholic Cemetery, Friendship,
Wisconsin.
Grace was born June 1, 1927 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to
Herman and Evelyn (Cotey) Kirchen. She married Edwin W.
Schulz on September 21, 1946 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, they
were married for 59 years. The couple raised their family in
Port Washington, WI, where they resided for 31 years before
retiring to Adams County in 1990.
Grace enjoyed knitting, she made mittens for her boys and
always made extras, as they always managed to lose one or
both. She also had a great passion for reading, often
reading 3 or 4 books a week, feeding and watching birds, she
enjoyed cooking, playing the small organ, singing,
and praying the rosary. Grace also possessed a great sense of
humor. She and her husband, Edwin were made for each other. She
was very family oriented and devoted her life to her
family.
Grace was a member of St. Mary�s Parish in Port
Washington and also St. Joseph Catholic Church in
Adams-Friendship.
Grace was preceded in death by parents, Herman and Evelyn
(Cotey) Kirchen; husband, Edwin; son, Chris; brother-in-law,
Frank Ornelas; sister-in-law, Marcella Krueger.
