George
M. Zerbian, age 84, of Westfield, Wisconsin passed away on
June 27, 2009 at the Divine Savior Healthcare in Portage,
Wisconsin.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 from
10:00a.m.-11:30 a.m. at Roseberry's Funeral Home in
Friendship, Wisconsin. Funeral services will follow at 11:30
a.m. Rev. Candy Lisiecki will officiate. Interment will be
at the South Burr Oak Cemetery, Town of Richfield, Coloma,
Wisconsin.
George was born August 7, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois to
William and Henrietta (Luedke) Zerbian. He farmed in
Wilmington, Illinois for many years prior to moving to
Lockport, Illinois where he was a registered dog breeder.
George raised Westies and Schnauzers. He was the proud owner
of several Championship dogs, including a winner of the
popular Westminster dog show that is held in New York every
year.
In 1965 along with his sister Violet, his brother in law
Carl and their two Children Larry & Carlene, George moved to
Westfield, Wisconsin where they dairy farmed in Springfield
Township up until his and Carl�s retirement in the late
1980�s.
George loved to garden, raise flowers, and enjoyed being
outdoors. He was a fan of Classical Music and enjoyed
playing the organ.
He was a member of South Burr Oak Methodist Church for
many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William &
Henrietta Zerbian; brothers: Walter Zerbian, William Zerbian,
Henry Zerbian, Herman Zerbian; sisters: Violet Wayczi,
Bertha Marbach, Elizabeth Plachy, Sophie Lutz, Eleanor
Mizysak, Emma Seban, and Marie Lick.

Sister: Frieda Lillie of
Phoenix, Arizona
Nephew: Larry (Donna) Wayczi
of Westfield, Wisconsin and their 3 daughters
Niece: Carlene (Don Stoddard)
Wayczi of Westfield, Wisconsin and her Son & Daughter
Further survived by numerous
nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews,
relatives & friends.
