 Walter
L. Ackley, age 72, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Friday,
March 27, 2009 at the Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics
in Friendship, Wisconsin. Funeral services will be 1:00
p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2009 at the Roseberry's Funeral
Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Sam Downey will
officiate. Interment will be at the Mt. Repose Cemetery,
Friendship, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until the time of service
on Monday at Roseberry's Funeral Home.
Walter was born December 16, 1936 in Grant City, Missouri
to Ned Wesley and Estel Marie (Lunsford) Ackley. He married
Donna Mae Krall on June 14, 1958 in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
Walter worked at Universal Foods in Milwaukee for 45 years.
The couple retired to Friendship in the 1990�s.
Walter enjoyed hunting, fishing, being a member of the
Masonic Lodge, and spending time with his family and
friends.
Walter was a life-time member of the NRA; the F. & A.M.
Damascus Lodge No. 0290, the Adams Lodge No. 0332, the Zor
Shrine, and Brewery Workers Local 9 UAW.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents and wife,
Donna Mae Ackley (2008).
