Donna E. Burke, age 53, of Adams, Wisconsin died March 7, 2009 at her home with her husband and her sons by her side in Adams, Wisconsin.

 

Mass of Christian burial will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2009 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Friendship, Wisconsin.   Father James P. McNamee will officiate.  Burial will follow at St. Leo's Catholic Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin. 

 

Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary service at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday at Roseberry's Funeral Home and visitation again at the church on Friday from 12:00 Noon until the time of mass. 

 

Donna was born December 13, 1955 in Oak Park, Illinois to Elmer and Jeanette Decker.  

 

She married James M. Burke on August 14, 1982 in Waupun, Wisconsin.  This marriage was blessed with two sons, Michael & Matthew. 

 

Donna was a member of the Sand County Players, St. Joseph�s choir, Bowling, volleyball teams, and a proud member of the AF Band Boosters.  She loved teaching and telling her first graders that she had their parents in first grade also.   Donna was just awarded her Thirty year Teaching Award.

 

She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family close friends.

 

We would like to thank her fellow teachers, retired teachers and other friends who helped us so much during her illness.

  

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents; Aunts; Uncles; and Father-in-law, Joseph P. Burke.

Brother:  Bill (Barb) Decker of Waupun, Wisconsin

Mother in Law:  Virginia Burke of Dunlap, Iowa

Brother in law:  Dr. James (JoAnne) Schwade of Kankakee, Illinois

Brother in law:  Dennis (Mary Ellen) Young of Burney, California

Brother in law:  Patrick (Sandy) Burke of Ledyard, Conn.

Best Friend:  Shari Kitowski of Adams, Wisconsin

Further survived by many:  uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
