 Clara
K. Heitman, age 98, of Adams, Wisconsin died Friday, March
13, 2009 at the Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics in
Friendship, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 16,
2009 at the St. John's Lutheran Church in the Town of
Quincy, Adams County, Wisconsin. Rev. T. Christian Nelson
will officiate, assisted by Rev. Dean Dummer. Rev. Dr.
Robert Lee Benson will officiate the interment service at
Quincy Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time
of service at St. John's Lutheran Church.
Clara was born November 3, 1910 in White Creek, Wisconsin
to Charles and Katherine A. (Schroeder) Heitman. She worked
in Madison, Milwaukee, and finally in Chicago where she
worked as a finance officer in a construction company. Clara
returned home in the early 1960�s to help take care of her
mother.
Clara enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, raising
flowers, reading, solving puzzles, and participating in
church activities.
Clara was a member of St. John�s Lutheran Church,
Merry-Martha Ladies Aid, and the Quincy Gardening Club.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and
Katherine Heitman; brothers: Albert, Adolph, Charles Le Roy,
Alfred, Edward, Ervin "Jim"; sisters: Esther Freeck, Ruth
Pease, Alvina Mikoda, and Dorothy Wood.
