Genevieve Ellen Rinker, age 80, of Adams, Wisconsin died Monday, November 30, 2009 at the Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 03, 2009 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Interment will be at the St. Leo Catholic Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be 12:00 Noon-2:00p.m. on Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Gen was born January 03, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to Benjamin and Balbina (Popielaz) Mitchell. She grew up in Mauston, WI. Gen married John Rinker Sr. on January 25, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois. The couple lived in Colorado, Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, before moving to Adams-Friendship in 1971. Gen worked as a waitress at Family Affair, Friendship Caf�, and Pat�s 76. She retired in the early 1990�s.

Gen enjoyed soap operas, country music, cooking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Gen was a member of St. Joseph�s Catholic Church.

Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Rinker Sr.; son, John Rinker Jr.; brother, Chet Mitchell; sisters: Jean Nelson; Isabelle Anderson; and Laura Jaskot.

Daughter: Mary Garlock of Adams, Wisconsin

Grandchild: Amanda Mecklenburg of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin

Grandchild: Richard Mecklenburg of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin

Grandchild: Heather Rinker of Woodstock, IL

Grandchild: Chad Garlock of Adams, Wisconsin

Grandchild: Mia DiGrazia of Oak Lawn, IL

Great-Grandchild: Savannah Behling of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin

Great-Grandchild: Joseph Behling of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin

Step-grandchild: Wendy Westerman of Woodstock, IL

Step-grandchild: Becky Westerman-Evans of Milwaukee, WI

Sister: Irene Newsom of Arkdale, Wisconsin

Brother: Ted (Millie) Mitchell of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin

Further survived by, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
