Per Joe�s request no services were held.

Joe was born March 24, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois to Thomas and Julia (Stompka) Slawek. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific Theater from 1943 to 1945. Joe worked as a truck driver in Chicago, IL. Following retirement in 1964, he moved to Williams Lake, Montello, Wisconsin.

Joe enjoyed taking trips to the casino.

Joe was a member of the Teamster�s Union Local 705.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Victoria; sons, Joseph and Dennis; second wife, Betty;and stepson, Dan.

Survivors:

Step-children: Ann (Dan), Pam (Rick), Tim, Denise (Scott), Sally (Rod), Laura (Mike), Bill (Karen), Carl (Eileen), Rich (Faye), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a special friend, John Lavey of Montello, Wisconsin to whom Joe�s family extends a special thank you for all he�s done for Joe.
