Ruth E. Lauer passed away peacefully on April 20, 2010 at
the age of 75. Ruth was born on October 24, 1934 in
Colorado. She graduated from Penrose High School in 1953. In
January, 1954 she married Dennis H. Lauer. Shortly after
they got married, they moved to Wisconsin where they raised
5 beautiful children together. In 1995 they retired to
Montello, WI.
Ruth is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dennis
Lauer; mother, Ora; father, William; brothers: Jim, George,
Cleo, Leo, Rex, and her sister, Betty.
She is survived by her children, Dannie (Deena) Lauer,
William (Carol) Lauer, Robert (Wanda) Lauer, James
(Michelle) Lauer, Linda (Steve) Halfpap and her
grandchildren Nathaniel, Dillon, Samantha, B.J., Brenda, and
Patricia; two great-grandchildren, Anthony and Elysa; and
her brother, Robert Stevens.
Ruth enjoyed gardening and her grandchildren. Her family
is grateful to the staff at the Montello Care Center for
their dedication and excellent care they provided to Ruth.
We will all miss her very much. At last, mom
and dad are back together again!
