John
Bula
1968-2010
John Victor Bula, age 42, of Coloma, Wisconsin died
Friday, December 24, 2010 at his home.
John found peace on Christmas Eve after
a courageous journey through Graves Disease and Depression. His
gifts of love, laughter, a thirst for knowledge, and his
ability to see beyond a present situation to find a better
way, transformed many lives. He
was devoted to his family, had a passion for nature and
fishing, loved music and reading, was an avid Packer fan,
and gave 13 years of service to his country with the U.S.
Army (including Desert Storm-Second Armored Division- as a
tank mechanic). John grew up in Wisconsin, sharing time
with the Bula family in Antigo and Adams-Friendship and the
Whitnall family in Beaver Dam, Door County and Waunakee. For many years he worked for the Bula-Garringer Farms in potato
production (irrigation systems, general farm work, and long
distance truck driving) and cattle management. He attended
UW Stevens Point, majoring in Fisheries and Water Resources. Johns
presence on this planet created a better world for everyone.
John
was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stanley and Edna
Bula; grandparents, Robert and Jeanne Whitnall; and uncle,
Jim Bula.
