Hurdy
R. Travis, age 68, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away with
his Wife and Son by his side on February 24, 2010 at the
Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics in Friendship.
Funeral services will be 5:30p.m. on Saturday, February
27, 2010 at Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship,
Wisconsin. Pastor Terri Skildum will officiate. Military
honors will be presented by The Veterans Honor Guard of
Adams County.
Visitation will be from 3:00p.m until the time of service
on Saturday at Roseberry's Funeral Home.
Hurdy was born April 17, 1941 in Union City, Tennessee
the Son of Charles R. Travis and Ethelene Workman.
Following his High School Graduation he enlisted in the
United States Army where he was active for 20 years. During
this time he served his country in the Vietnam War. During
his multiple tours of duty he was stationed in many
different countries including Panama, where he married
Lucille Lech on April 28, 1976.
In the Late 1980�s Hurdy and Lucillle moved to Friendship
where they started their woodworking business and he turned
something that he loved into a way of life. He was a loving
Husband, Father and Grandfather. Hurdy will be missed by
many and remain in our hearts forever.
