Marjorie L. Westwood
September 19, 1922 � February 28, 2010
Marjorie L. "Marge" Westwood of Dellwood, Wisconsin, died
Sunday, February 28, in Scottsdale, Arizona, surrounded in
love by her six children and grandchildren. She was 87.
She was born Marjorie Hansen on September 19, 1922 in
Kenosha, Wisconsin, to Arthur and Madeline (Bauer) Hansen.
She was married to Frederick Richard "Tiny" Westwood on June
8, 1946 in Kenosha and later moved to Dellwood, where she
has been a full time resident since 1969.
In addition to raising six children, Marge was employed
at both Koopers and Nash Motors in Kenosha, and at the Red
Owl in Adams-Friendship. After retiring, Marge spent winters
visiting family in Arizona. When at home, she enjoyed
working in her yard, feeding "her" birds and the frequent
deer who found refuge there, and being a wonderful friend.
Her home was a place that all were welcome, and where a
slice of her famous bread, a warm meal, and a good laugh
could always be found.
Marge is preceded in death by her husband, Fred "Tiny"
Westwood. Sister, Betty Hansen, Brother, Arthur Hansen,
Brother, Kenneth Hansen, Sister-in-Law, Ileen Hansen, and
Son-in-Law, Thomas Wuebben.
She is survived by her six children; Betty Wuebben,of
Kansasville, WI; Sandra Fiegel, of Mesa, AZ; ; Pamela (Curt)
Steinke, of Scottsdale, AZ; Tina (Ralph) Eubanks, of Tucson,
AZ; Thomas (Amy), of Orlando, FL; and Charles (Laurie), of
Lincoln, DE; eighteen grandchildren, eight
great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and many
nieces and nephews. Marge leaves behind a simple legacy of
love, commitment to family and laughter.
Funeral services for our beloved mother, grandmother, great
grandmother, great- great grandmother, will be Friday,
March 5, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Roseberry�s Funeral Home in
Friendship, WI. Father James P. McNamee will officiate.
Interment will be at the Quincy Cemetery, Town of Quincy,
Adams County, Wisconsin. Friends may call at Roseberry�s
on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
