Walter Thomas Baka, age 86, of
Necedah, Wisconsin died Saturday, January 9, 2010 at the
Tomah VA Medical Center in Tomah, Wisconsin. Memorial
services will be held at a later date in Chicago, Illinois.
Walter was born May 3, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois to
Thomas and Anna (Pleva) Baka. He was a veteran of WWII,
serving in the Army in the European Theater of war. Walter
married Loretta Pearl Billings in Chicago, Illinois.
He worked for Sunbeam Corp. in Chicago, IL as a machinist
for 42 years.
Walter enjoyed dealing poker, fishing, and was an fan of
the Chicago Cubs and Bears.
Walter was preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Anna
Baka; sister, Leona Kuzsinski; brother, John Baka; brother,
Joseph Baka; brother, Thomas Baka Jr.; and sister, Jean Baka.
