Loretta Battige, age 70, of Big Flats, Wisconsin died
Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the St. Joseph's Hospital in
Marshfield, Wisconsin.Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m.
on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the Roseberry's Funeral
Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Friends may call at
Roseberry�s on Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. Cremation will
follow the traditional service.
Florence was born November 21, 1939 in Menominee,
Michigan to Louis and Bernice (Godfrey) Erfouth. She grew up
in Upper Michigan with her family. Florence married John
Battige on June 20, 1959 in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. The couple
made their home in Milwaukee, where they raised their
family. Following retirement, the couple moved to Big Flats
in 1994.
Florence enjoyed drawing, painting, knitting, and
spending time with her family.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents, Louis &
Bernice Erfouth; son-in-law, Al Gillessen; brother, Frank
Godfrey; sister-in-law, Marcia Erfouth; daughter-in-law,
Maggie Battige; brother-in-law, Jim Battige; and
step-father, Mannie Godfrey.
