Jim
Riant Gilmore, age 66, of Tucson, AZ died July 27, 2010
at the St. Joseph�s Hospital in Tucson, AZ.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July
31, 2010 at the White Creek Cemetery in White Creek,
Adams County, Wisconsin.
Jim was born February 4, 1944 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin
to Robert Lee and Vonnie Lucille (Prest) Gilmore. He
married Mary Fay Byard on December 18, 1976 in Tulsa,
OK.
Jim enjoyed camping, playing guitar, bird watching,
traveling, and writing poetry.
He was a Red Cross instructor, on Oklahoma�s Handicap
Commission, a Hospice Volunteer Counselor, a member of
the Seventh Day Adventist Church ; he was the first male
Girl Scout Counselor in the State of Maine. Jim
was a perpetual member of the Ardmore, OK York Rite
Bodies, Chapter #11, Council#11, Commandery #; Past
District President, Past President High Twelve Club,
member of Martha Daylight #502 Eastern Star Chapter, and
Past Master and perpetual member of Cushing, OK Masonic
Lodge No. 111.
Memorials may be directed to the St. Labre Indian
School, Ashland, MT 59004-0001.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and
Vonnie Gilmore; and brother, Mike Gilmore.
