 Frances
Kens, age 88, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Sunday, June 06,
2010 at the Fair View Nursing Home in Mauston, Wisconsin.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30 p.m. on Thursday,
June 10, 2010 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in
Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will
officiate. Interment will be at the St. Leo�s Catholic
Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be at Roseberrys Funeral Home on Wednesday,
June 9th from 5 to 9 p.m., with a prayer service
at 6:00 p.m. Friends may also call at the church on
Thursday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.
Frances was born March 2, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois to John
and Frances (Marhan) Vancata. She graduated from Faragut
High School in Chicago, IL. Frances married Thomas V. Kens
on June 2, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois. She worked as a
secretary for Pulman Company. Frances and Thomas moved to
Adams County in 2005.
Frances enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Frances was a member of St. Joseph�s Catholic Church.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, John and
Frances Vancata.

Son: Kenneth J. (Patricia) Kens of Friendship, Wisconsin

Grandson: Jerome P. Kens of Tinley Park, Illinois
Brother: John Vancata Jr. of Zion, Illinois
