Tresa
Griffith, age 81, of Adams, Wisconsin passed away March 30,
2010 at the Wild Rose Manor in Wild Rose, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon on Monday, April 5,
2010 at Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Pastor Sam Downey will officiate. Visitation will be
10:00a.m until the time of service on Monday at Roseberry's
Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the traditional
service.
Tresa was born September 14, 1928 in Pana, Illinois to
Bill and Ethel Speer. She married James Griffith on June 28,
1946 in Chicago, Illinois. James passed away on April 14,
1980. Tresa worked as a cook for Cottonville School.
She later worked at the Dress Factory in Mauston, the Red
Owl store in Adams, the IGA, Bob�s K Market, the Adams
County Aging Center and the Chula Vista. Her last job was
dispatcher for ACEC.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing, playing bingo, playing the
piano and organ, singing and working on jig saw, word find
and crossword puzzles. She liked cake decorating, gardening
and bird watching especially the Cardinals.
Tresa was a member and past President of the VFW Ladies
Auxiliary and was a 4-H Project Leader for the Roche-A-Cri
Beavers. She was also a member of the Monroe Center
Homemakers Club and Ladies Aid.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The
Alzheimer�s Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James; infant
daughter; and twin sister, Treva.
