Ruth
D. Imberger, age 92, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin died Sunday,
November 21, 2010 at the Fair View Nursing Home in Mauston,
Wisconsin.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on
Friday, November 26, 2010 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in
Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will
officiate. Friends may call at Roseberry�s on Friday from
10 a.m. until the time of service.
Ruth was born
May 30, 1918 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Herman and Tillie
(Jahnz) Weiland. She graduated from high school in
Milwaukee in 1936. Ruth married Arthur Lewis in 1943 in
Milwaukee, WI. She was a hard worker throughout her life.
Following the passing of her husband, Ruth moved to Adams
County in 1975. She married Walter K. Imberger on August
29, 1998 in Adams County, Wisconsin. Together, they
established the original Imberger�s Sausage Kitchen in
Springville Township.
Ruth enjoyed cooking, flowers,
and being creative with arts and crafts.
Ruth was
preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Arthur
(1971); second husband, Walter (2003); two brothers, four
sisters, nieces, and nephews.
Survivors include her
loving and devoted daughter, Nancy and son-in-law, Robert
Frede of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin; loving grandchildren: Lisa
Shier of Burlington, Wisconsin and Brian Willms of Hales
Corners, Wisconsin; great-grandchildren: Joshua and Justin
Shier of Burlington, Wisconsin; Shawn Willms of Burlington,
Wisconsin; and Jasmine Willms of Waukesha, Wisconsin. She
is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
Memorials may be directed to the Adams
County Human Society.
The family would like to thank
Fair View Nursing Home, Hess Memorial Hospital and Dr. Eric
Heaney, for the excellent care they provided Ruth the past
seven years.
