Hildegarde (Bobbie) Heitman 86 went to
be with our Lord on Sunday October 3rd, 2010.
Hildegarde was born April 17, 1924 in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin to Steve Ceskowski and Barbara Lentz.
She grew up in Waukegan, Illinois during WWII, worked in
Milwaukee folding parachutes, until the factory burned.
Moving back to Waukegan began working at Abbotts Laboratory,
North Shore railroad as a waitress and a ticket agent/train
caller. She became good friends with Elna (Red) Taylor who
also worked for the railroad. Together they had good times
riding the rails. Then Bobbie got a job at the Swedish Glee
Club as a waitress, which is where she met her Husband
Adolph. They married in Waukegan, moving to Plainville in
Dell Prairie, WI. together owned & operated the Village Inn
for 30 years. Along with running the Tavern, she also worked
at the Candy Castle until it closed. Her last job was at the
Dells School District for 22 years until retirement.
Remembering all the friends she made, especially Angie, Bev,
Carlene, Lou Ann, Ruth & Velma. Her interests were
crocheting, gardening, canning her garden profits and most
importantly shopping and traveling, which was in Canada,
Mexico, Europe and through out the United States. She
traveled with her good friend Millie; Bobbie�s favorite
saying was "Have toothbrush will travel"
She is survived by her loving daughter Barbara Olson, son
in Law Mike Olson, cherished grand-daughters Mica, Erica &
Marisa who provided loving care while living with them.
Her brother Lawrence Ceskowski of Waukegan, Step Children
Bonnie (Appleton) Richard of Friendship. Many relatives and
friends who are dear to her. Waiting in heaven are her
parents, husband, brother Lt. Stephen, Stepson Keith, sister
in laws Emily & Juanita. In addition she would like to say
goodbye to all her relatives and friends.
We Lost Someone Very Special, a loving Mother and
Grandmother.
Funeral will be at St. Cecilia�s Catholic Church,
Wisconsin Dells with visitation on Friday, October 8th
@ 9:30A.M. And service to follow @ 10:30 A.M. In Lieu of
flowers the family would appreciate Masses said in her name.
