Shari was born July 25, 1951 in Marshfield, Wisconsin to
Leonard B. and Eileen M. (Martens) Kitowski. Shari spent her
younger years in Junction City helping her parents run the
family grocery store. After graduation from PJ Jacobs High
School in Stevens Point, WI, and later UW-Stevens Point,
Shari began her teaching career in Auburndale, with the last
30 years teaching in the Adam-Friendship school district.
Shari retired in 2010.
In addition to her love of teaching, Shari loved to travel
and spend time with many dear friends. Attending plays,
concerts and other social events brought her great joy.
Shari loved to cook and her family was the lucky recipient
of Aunty Sharis buns at many a family event.
Shari will be missed by all those that were lucky enough to
spend time with her. We know that Shari is now where we all
long to be, with her dad, her Uncle Armin and all those that
passed before her.
Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Society
or the Adams-Friendship School District.
Shari was preceded in death by her father, Leonard "Lindy"
Kitowski.
She is survived by her mother Eileen Kitowski of Waunakee,
Wisconsin, her sister Sue Cloutier (special friend Tom Rapa)
of Waunakee, Wisconsin and her niece and nephews Monica,
