Alfred Papini Jr.

Alfred D. Papini Jr., age 72, of Adams, Wisconsin formerly of Loves Park Illinois passed away unexpectedly May 23, 2011 at his home. Alfred was born August 16, 1938 in Rockford, Illinois to Alfred and Josephine (Campisi) Papini.
He grew up in Rockford, Illinois and graduated from East High School in 1957 and Chicago Tech. in 1959.
Alfred married Phyllis Fisher on June 6, 1959 in Rockford, Illinois.
He owned and operated Rockford Roofing Company for 35 years.

Alfred enjoyed collecting coins and shopping on QVC but most of all, fishing.
A celebration of life will be held for his Wisconsin friends at his home in the Adams-Friendship Senior Housing Community on Friday, May 27, 2011 from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. Father James P. McNamee will officiate.
A Private family service will then be held at the St. Bridget Catholic Church in Loves Park, Illinois.
Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery, Rockford, Illinois.

Grandchildren: Melissa, Christen, Holli, Alex,Heidi,Logan, Alexis, Addy & Payton
Great-Grandchildren, Karyn, Chance, Brendyn, Kylee & Anna Jayn
Sister: Virginia Gissler of New Milford, Illlinois
Brother: Randy Papini of Loves Park, Illinois
Brother: Teddy Papini of Rockford, Illinois
Brother: Sid (Teresa) Papini of Loves Park, Illinois
Former Wife: Phyllis Chambers of Loves Park, Illlinois
Godson: Deverne "Carl" Gissler of Glendale, Arizona
Life Long Friend: Wendell Swede Olsen
He was further survived by many: nieces, nephews, relatives & friends
