Arthur Dale Carpenter

Arthur Dale Carpenter, age 83, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at his home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 2, 2007 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Sam Downey will officiate.

Interment will be 4:00 p.m. on Monday, July 2, 2007 at the North Rushford Cemetery, Omro, Wisconsin. Military honors will be given by the Daugherty-Hamilton American Legion Post 234 at the cemetery.

Friends may call at Roseberrys on Monday from 12 Noon until the time of service.

Arthur was born July 22, 1923 in Rushford, Wisconsin to Arthur H. and Mary J. (Flanigan) Carpenter. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Navy in the Pacific Theater. Arthur worked as hauled canned milk, machinist, farmer, and cut fire wood.

Arthur enjoyed gardening, fishing, picture taking, working on his computer, artistic painting, and spending time with his family.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Shirley; brother, George; Brother, Melvin; Sister, Dorothy; Sister, Edith; Granddaughter, Addie; Great-Grandson, Kyle; longtime companion, Dorothy Cornwell.
