Barbara J. Volkening, age 83, of Arkdale, Wisconsin passed away Monday, November 7, 2022, at Liberty Village in Adams, Wisconsin.

Barb is one of the few people I can say I’ve known to never say a harsh word about anyone. She will be missed by so many. RIP

BARB you were the sister I never had I treasured the trips visits and your friendship life will not be the same without you. I hope i am fortunate to make it to heaven and meet you again. You were dearly loved by so many. You were such an asset to your church and who could forget your favorite egg salad sandwiches at luncheons, Special prayer for your family and friends through this difficult tome, LOL

I spent many years at Barb and Ed’s home in my younger days. She always had something for us to do and we always had plenty to eat. She crocheted afghans for everyone in the county I believe!!! Our sympathy to you all.
