Barbara Louise Smith

Smith_webBarbara Louise Smith, age 73, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin passed away from a short fight with lung cancer on March 31, 2014 at her daughters home.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the Assembly of God Church in Adams, Wisconsin.  Pastor Mark Stevens will officiate. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Barbara was born April 4, 1940 in Milton, Wisconsin to Rollin and Evelyn Stebbins.

She married Ronald E. Smith on February 14, 1959 in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Barbara was an inspector at Charmglow Products in Burlington, Wisconsin for 10 years and was a cook for five years. She spent the next years caring for her disabled husband until he passed away in 1998.

Barbara enjoyed reading and playing cards. She was a wonderful cook and caregiver and especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Rollin & Evelyn Stebbins; husband, Ronald E. Smith; daughter, Kathleen Dumas; sister, Gwen Stebbins; brother, Rollin Stebbins and one great-grandchild.

Daughter:  Donna (Claude) Kearney of Adams, Wisconsin

Daughter:  Diane (Daniel) Reichoff of Friendship, Wisconsin

Son:  Steven (Jackie) Smith of Adams, Wisconsin

Son-in-law:  Billy Dumas of Adams, Wisconsin

Son-in-law:  Joseph Jackson of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin

Eight Grandsons:  Jason, Bill, Ron, Andrew, Brent, Markus, Jordan, and Jaylin

Two Granddaughters:  Julie, and Jenni

Two Step-grandchildren:  Sheena and Billy “Bebop”

Eleven Great-Grandchildren

Brother:  James (Patricia) Stebbins of Milton, Wisconsin

Further survived by:  many other relatives and friends
