Bette M. Roberts
Bette M. Roberts, age 91, of Friendship, WI passed away on March 27, 2018 at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Born on May 16, 1926 in Ashland, WI to Ole K. and Dora E. Torgerson.
Married 63 years to Billy W. Roberts who passed away March 30, 2015. Survived by her sons Bruce (Barbara) and Barry Roberts both living in the Madison area; her sister Edna Zar who lives in Florida; grandchildren Amy Slone, Scott Roberts, and Carly Roberts; great grandchildren Oyouka and Bowen Slone.
Bette and Billy lived in Milwaukee from 1945 to 1977 when they retired and moved to Friendship, WI. She had been a resident at the Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship since 2010. Bette was active in Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church for many years. She enjoyed church, music, reading, and traveling with Billy. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on April 2, 2018 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship.
