Bobbie Orick

Bobbie J. Orick, aged 85, of Arkdale, Wisconsin, peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Montello Care Center in Montello, Wisconsin.

A heartfelt family service was held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Roseberry’s Funeral Home, where friends and loved ones gathered to celebrate a life well-lived. The final chapter unfolded at the East Arkdale Cemetery, Arkdale, Wisconsin, where Bobbie found eternal rest.

Born on August 10, 1938, in Red Bay, Alabama, to Hosie and Nellie May (McCoy) Orick, Bobbie embraced life with unwavering spirit. On December 19, 1958, he joined hands in matrimony with Daisy J. in Waukegan, Illinois, marking the beginning of a beautiful journey together. Bobbie dedicated 30 years of his life to American Motors, retiring in 1979, and in 1980, he and Daisy embarked on a new chapter in Adams County.

Bobbie found joy in life’s simple pleasures—fishing, hunting, and traversing new horizons with his beloved wife. His heart was a haven for family, and the laughter of grandchildren brought immeasurable happiness.

Bobbie was reunited with his cherished wife, Daisy, and their children, Betty, Jay, and Marlene, who preceded him in death. He leaves behind a legacy of love survived by his son, Donny Orick, and daughter, Bobbie Anderson, along with grandchildren, other relatives, and a host of friends.
