Buford Neely

Buford "Doug" Neely, age 67, of Adams, Wisconsin died Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Sam Downey will officiate. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.

Doug was born April 24, 1939 in Bluefield, West Virginia to Elliot and Edna (Dixon) Neely. He served in the National Guard following school. Doug later worked as a coal miner in West Virginia for 30 years, retiring in 1990. He married Una "Mae" Hensley on July 14, 1996 in Stoughton, Wisconsin.

Doug enjoyed playing with his bird, Fiddler, woodworking and spending time with his family.

Doug was preceded in death by his parents, brother Otis; and a granddaughter Nicole.

Daughter: Ann (David) Staples of Rock, West Virginia
Son: Levi Neely of Rock, West Virginia
Daughter: Drema (Tim) Gray of Friendship, Wisconsin
Daughter: Cheryl (Brian) Stringfellow of Bailey, Colorado
Grandchildren: 10
Great-Grandchildren: 10
Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Roseberry’s Funeral Home is assisting the family.
