Carolyn Maud Roelke, age 93 of Madison, Wisconsin, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025, at Beaver Dam HealthCare Center in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.

Per Carolyn’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service

Carolyn was born December 04, 1931, in Lime Ridge, Wisconsin to Willard George and Dorothy Sarah (Hainstock) Busser. She was married to Clifford F Roelke on April 28, 1951 at St. Raphael’s Church in Madison, WI. She spent most of her life in Madison, Wisconsin. Carolyn enjoyed her vacations and retirement with family and friends up North.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford F Roelke; daughter, Denise M Thornton; and son, David N Roelke.

Survivors include her son; Steven D Roelke; brother, Bill Busser and wife Margo; sister-in-law, Sharon Mortenson; three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The burial will take place in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Lodi, WI at a later date.
