Carolyn S. Buerger

Carolyn S. Buerger

Carolyn S. Buerger, age 69, of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin passed away Friday, January 10, 2025, after a brief bat-tle of cancer at Fair View Nursing Home in Mauston, Wisconsin.

Carolyn was born January 10, 1956, in Grapevine, Texas to Walter and Karlene (Pina) Hancock. Carolyn gave birth to a daughter Francis Ann Pina, and then married William P. Buerger Jr. on May 16, 1981, in Rib Lake, Wisconsin. Together they shared a love for fishing, concerts, and exploring the forest preservations of Illi-nois. Carolyn briefly worked in the food industry and also drove school bus. Carolyn gave birth to Melissa Dawn Buerger and then another daughter a year later, Vera Marie Buerger.

Carolyn loved the beauty of nature that surrounded her. She did paintings of the beautiful things nature had in it. She also had the talents of making jewelry, crafts, crocheting, wood burning, and also did various wire working arts. She could also be found outside tending to her garden & flowers. Carolyn enjoyed times with her grand-children and helped raise them.
Carolyn loved spending her time with her best friend Priscilla Fell, having conversations about many things and also going to see many Elvis impersonators.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents: Walter & Karlene Hancock.

Survivors include her husband: William Buerger of Wisconsin Dells; daughters: Francis Moreno of Portage, Melissa Walton Buerger of Wisconsin Dells & Vera Lytle (Brandon) of Wausau; grandchildren: Cloe Walton, Jasper Walton, Elizabeth Buerger, Liara Lytle, Adriana Flores-Vences, and many other siblings & family members.
