Clara Sidney Rhodes

Clara Sidney Rhodes, age 80, of Adams, Wisconsin died Thursday, November 5, 2009 at her home following short illness.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 9, 2009 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Interment will be at the Fordham Cemetery, Town of Adams, Adams County, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be at Roseberry’s Funeral Home on Monday, November 9th, from 12 Noon until the time of service.

Clara was born June 22, 1929 in Seven Mile Creek (Juneau County), Wisconsin to Royal and Norma F. (Clark) Bader. She married James Rhodes on July 24, 1948 in Rockford, Illinois. The couple made their home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin until they moved to Adams County in 1973.

Clara enjoyed reading, writing poetry, word puzzles, music, t.v., movies, playing cards, jigsaw puzzles, flowers, watching birds and nature.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents, Norma and Roy Bader; husband, James Rhodes;

brothers: Harlan, Roy, Norman, and LeRoyce; and infant sister, Ruth Bader.

Six Great-Grandchildren
Sister: Arvella Towers of Baraboo, Wisconsin
Sister: Ina Jackson of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin
Brother: Manley Bader of Rockford, Illinois
Brother: James Bader of Necedah, Wisconsin
Special Friend: Gary Fuchs of Adams, Wisconsin
Further survived by many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
