Connie Ellen (Lewis) Rozell, 35, of Harvard, IL passed away peacefully at her parents home on August 12, 2011 after a long illness.
Connie was born May 12, 1976 in Ishpeming, Michigan to Randy and Ramona (Jensen) Lewis. She married Charles Rozell in Woodstock, IL on October 8, 2004. They were blessed with a daughter, Sarah Abigail.
Connies favorite thing in life was being a mother. Before her illness, she had been a manager of a photo lab and had worked in retail in the local area.
She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter and granddaughter who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an animal, nature lover, and also enjoyed collecting figurines of toads and frogs. She loved flower gardening and all of Gods Creatures. She was a helpful and giving person to all.
Survivors include her husband: Charles of Harvard, Daughter: Sarah of Harvard, Parents: Randy and Ramona Lewis of Sharon, WI, Maternal Grandmother: Charlene Jensen of Delavan, WI, Paternal Grandmother: Shirley McIntosh of Palatine, IL, Mother- in- law: Kathy Rozell of Carpentersville, IL, Sister in Law: Ann (John) Lundgren, Marengo, IL, Brother-in-law: William (Vicki) Rozell of Genoa, IL GrandmotherinLaw: Louise Russell of Carpentersville, IL and also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather: Rudy Jensen, paternal grandfather: Meldon Lewis, and cousin: Scott Lewis.
The memorial gathering will be from 4 p.m. Thursday, August 18, until the memorial service at 7 p.m. at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
