Cynthia Marie Gore

photo_Gore_webCynthia Marie Gore, age 60, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin died Monday, May 2, 2016 at her home.

Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin.   Pastor Sam Downey will officiate.  Interment will be at the White Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be 12:00 Noon until the time of service on Saturday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.

Cynthia was born February 14, 1956 in Adams, Wisconsin to Robert and Wilma (Johnson) Cavanaugh.

She attended Adams-Friendship Area Schools and later enlisted in the United States Air Force.

Cynthia married Dean William Gore on April 6, 2010 in Owensboro, Kentucky.

Cynthia worked hard all her life and enjoyed gardening, walking, and having good times with friends.

Cynthia was preceded in death by father, Robert Cavanaugh and brothers, Robert Cavanaugh Jr. & Michael Cavanaugh.

Grandson:  Ian McClure of Reedsburg, Wisconsin

Mother:  Wilma (Rhinney) Miller of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin

Sister:  Shirley (Bob) Follen of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin

Sister:  Peggy (Gene) Johnson of Arizona

Sister:  Nancy (Jeff) Saferite of Texas

Brother:  Gary (Sandy) Potter of California

Brother:  Roger (Bonnie) Potter of Texas

Brother:  Dan (Marilyn) Mattson of South Dakota

Brother:  Ron Potter of Nevada

    Cindy was one of my first friends when starting school in Grand Marsh. We were in the same grade to which I believe there was a whole 8 of us. We didn’t remain close after school but when we met up at the festival or any event it wasn’t hard to start up where we left off. Rest in Peace my friend.
