Dale D. Baker Sr.

baker379_web1Dale D. Baker Sr., age 79, of Arkdale, Wisconsin died Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at his home.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Roseberry’s Funeral
Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Rev. John K. Stake will officiate. Interment will be at the
Briggsville Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Sunday at
Roseberry’s Funeral Home.

Dale was born June 20, 1937 in Westfield, Wisconsin to Willis and Evelyn (Galbraith) Baker.

Dale  graduated from Adams-Friendship High School and later enlisted in the United States Army on December 17,1959. He was honorably discharged on November 30, 1965.

He married Sally A. Albro on June 14, 1959.

Dale worked for Oil Gear in Milwaukee for over 30 years before retiring.

Dale enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing with his brothers and sons, watching T.V. and he was an avid reader.

Dale was a member of the V.F.W

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Willis & Evelyn Baker and sisters, Sandra Henze; Donna Lee Baker & Sharon Ann Baker.

Daughter: Cheryl (Thomas) Fortier of Hartland, Wisconsin
Daughter: Bonnie LaVake of Portage, Wisconsin
Son: Dale Baker Jr.
Son: Shawn (Deborah) Baker of West Allis, Wisconsin
Son: Terry (Kristine Szulczewski) Baker of Hales Corners, Wisconsin
12 grandchildren Josh, Thomas Jr., Dylan, Devin, Dean, Heather, Melissa, Eric, Chad, Desirae, Kayla, and Brock
Brother: Michael “Butch” (Kathleen) Baker of Whitewater, Wisconsin
Brother: Duane (Jane) Baker of Sheboygan, Wisconsin
further survived by many great-grandchildren, relatives and friends

    Butch, Duane sorry to hear of Dales passing. Had a chat with himbout a year ago, in front of the x-ray room in Friendship, we were both waiting. I remember the hunting gang out at Berine’s wood. Good Times! Rest of Dales family, sorry for your loss.
