I am so sorry to hear of Dale’s passing. My memories from our teenage years were of a young Dale who was a dreamer. Inspired by the writings of J.R.R. Tolkien, Dale often shared through his art and expression his enjoyment of the Hobbit Series. Coupled this with his early love of all things Star Wars and you will find much of his early inspirations and a sense of right and wrong. Maybe in storage you might find a hand made Hobbit inspired chess set he spent so much time on…. It was pretty darn cool!
My early memories of walking the halls of Adams Friendship High with Dale, Chuck Stone, and others were always eventful as we found our own sense of teenage mischief. One of Dale’s early prides was a gold colored Ford Mustang. Boy oh boy… He sure enjoyed that ride!
Dale and I lost touch after high school graduation as our military careers led us to different horizons. His friendship and dreams will live on in my memories with the hopes that others were able to experience his wonderful qualities.
My sincere condolences to his family and friends… And to Dale, may you rest in peace and find your place in Middle Earth.
