  6. Kathy (Lent) Kuss & Mike Kuss says:

One of my most prominent memories of Dan was when I came along with my big sister Cindy to baby sit while Brownie and Clyde went out of town for the night. One of the guys did not fes up that they broke one of the basement windows. When evening rolled around, the house became filled with mosquitoes. We still had no idea of the source so that night when it was time to go to bed, Diane and I found refuge in her closet. To this day, I do not know who broke that window, but the memory still makes me smile. I hope family and friends can find happiness in this sad time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My step dad was a wonderful husband, father and grandpa, the best memories i have is when we would go to a water park for the weekend or camping as a family, or watching his youngest grandson follow him around with a tool in his hand to help grandpa fix something. He will live on in our hearts forever, and will be greatly missed.

    To all the Giessels.
I remember Dan as not only being a neighbor for many years but also a very close friend. I will always remember playing in the field in back of my parents house with Rick, Al and Danny until our parents called us in after dark. He was also a great carpenter that could build anything. Many times I comment passing his house that he built his house almost by himself and at such a young age. RIP Danny I will always love you like a brother!
