A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday June 2, at the Roche-A-Cri Lions Park, Arkdale Wisconsin, from 2 to 6, with food starting at 3 pm.
Dee was born November 2, 1939 in Newton Township, Marquette County, to the parents of Arden and Leona {Schrank} Kottke. She grew up in Coloma, Wisconsin and graduated from Westfield High School in 1957. She married Samuel Hans Warp Sr. on January 4, 1958. She worked for over 20 years at Don Smith Sales in Adams, where she made many friends.
In her younger years Dee enjoyed dancing and playing the accordion. Later she enjoyed bowling, traveling, Nascar, her flowers, gardening, and canning in the summer, watching the Packers, and sewing and baking the rest of the year. She always insisted on dark chocolate and old country music. After retiring, her week focused on regularly attending exercise class with the same group of ladies. Which carried over to lunches, birthday parties, and much laughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents Arden and Leona Kottke, older sister Marcella “Sal”, younger sister Virginia “Gin”, and grandson Chase A. Schweitzer.
She is survived by her four children, Sam (Jean) Warp Jr, Cheryl Schweitzer, Scott Warp, and Steve (Bobby Sue) Warp, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank St. Croix Hospice for the loving care they provided for mom in her final weeks.
What a great person. She did things for people that may not have needed much money, but ment the world to. In the last five years of my Mother’s life, she only got one birthday card and it was always from Dee. I could never repay her for her kindness to my Mother. May she rest in peace.
Our deepest sympathy and may all the good memories help you heal. It was a pleasure having Dee in class. She sat in the back row with her ‘coffee clutch’ friends respectively doing the exercises at Silver Sneakers, quiet as a mouse. And when an opportunity came to talk, she showed us her feisty side – love that! Take Care and God Bless
Sammy, Cheryl, Scott and Steve – I’m so sorry for your loss. Aunt Dee’s strength and love were amazing. The sound of her laughter is something I will fondly remember.
Love & prayers for each of you,
Dave & Mary

Sammy, Cheryl, Scott, Steve and families. Oh the memories. So many memories. From Duke and Doc to the skunks and Princess and all the time we spent together. To being so scared to walk the path we created from our house to your in the dark in Arkdale. So many fond memories that I hold near and dear. Im sure they are all playing cards upstairs. Your mother was a truly wonderful person and kept us all in line when we needed it. She was loved and is loved by so many. May she rest in peace and know she is always with all of you.
