Darlene and I just connected again after almost 50 years. We were high school friends. She was a bridesmaid at my wedding 50 years ago. She was able to attend our 50th anniversary celebration. And I was so HAPPY she attended. She made us a beautiful gift from her heart that I will forever cherish. Her family was her #1 priority PERIOD! I miss her deeply but I also know she is in a better place with her parents and other loved ones and has found eternal peace. My wish for her family is that they can hug tightly all the love she gave and their happy memories. We all miss you my friend. You will never be forgotten

  2. Mary Messner Evje says:

My heart goes to all of you. Darlene and I had recently reconnected after many years. She talked fondly of her family, especially her kids and grandkids. I could see how much she loved everyone and was so proud of each and every one of you.
Darlene and I were close friends when we were kids, growing up in the same neighborhood. I hold onto and cherish those memories as if it were just yesterday.
