David Allen Lamberty

David Allen Lamberty was the youngest born to Dean and Amy Lamberty on June 26, 1986, in Racine, WI. He passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on November 23, 2022, in Baraboo, Wi. after recently being diagnosed with Long QT Syndrome. He was only 36 years old.

While growing up in Racine, David enjoyed fishing Lake Michigan with his Dad. As a child, he earned several awards in the annual Salmon-a-Rama Competition, hosted by Bob Uecker. David & his Dad would share many special fishing trips together in Minnesota, while visiting special friends Rick and Wendy Bowman.
He also loved spending time with his older siblings. His brother Marc, whom he respected and admired greatly, and his sister Jeni, whom he shared a deep spiritual connection. He was greatly loved by them all, but especially by his Mother Amy.

His childhood was also enjoyed in Sauk Prairie. Visiting his Grandparents, Godparents, Uncles, cousins, and several beloved family friends. Sauk County was a haven for David. A place where he could go boating on Lake Wisconsin with his family, golfing w/Grandpa Charlie at Lake Wisconsin CC, fishing on the Wisconsin River, Fish Lake, and Crystal Lake with his Dad and Uncle Mike, Trap shooting, playing Billards, hiking Devil’s Lake, grilling out, playing in the Wisconsin Dells, bicycling to the many parks in town, and running around the golf course after Friday Night Fish Fry’s. He relocated here permanently, after graduating high school in Oak Creek.

David was a naturally gifted writer, lyricist, and comedian. He was known for his quick wit, his intellect, and his benevolent soul. He fought injustice passionately, loved greatly, and cared deeply. This eventually brought him to pursue a line of work caring for the elderly and those in need. He was a true caregiver in every sense of the word. He will be remembered for his ability to make anyone laugh and smile, setting their minds at ease.

David was preceded in death by his mother Amy(Lamberty)Williams, his grandparents Charles and Shirley Ritchie, grandfather Moritz Lamberty, cousin Chris Pangrazi, his best friend Roscoe, and most recently his uncle (and GodFather) Michael Lamberty. He is survived by his father Dean Lamberty, sister Jennifer(Michael)Porsche, brother Marc Lamberty, nieces Sienna, Charlie, Soleil, Audrey, and Soraiya, Uncle Jay Ritchie, Aunt(and Godmother)Pam Lamberty, Aunt Barb Porter, cousins Jessica McFarland, Justin Lamberty, KC Lamberty, and Matt Pangrazi. He is also survived by Whitney and the Sonsalla Family, Prestyn, Shara, and “Shorty”.

A Visitation will begin at 9:00am, followed by a Memorial Service at 10:30am, on Saturday, December 10, at the First United Church of Christ, in Sauk City. The Celebration of David’s life will continue immediately at the Lake Wisconsin Country Club, until 3:30pm.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in David’s memory to The First United Church of Christ, where his Grandparents Charlie & Shirley Ritchie were longstanding members.

  2. Diane (Reddeman) Lee says:

On behalf of the Reddeman family, I send our sincere condolences to all of David’s loved ones!
David was a bright and shining light in the lives of everyone that his life touched.
Always optimistic and energetic, David will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
My mom and David’s grandmother Shirley (Decot) Ritchey were best friends all their lives since they were school girls together.
After they both married, their husband’s: Chuck and Neal also became best friends—the Ritchey and Reddeman families share a long and loving history, and the loss of David feels like the loss of a member of my own family.
I expect there will be a boisterous welcome party in Heaven, and that David’s mother Amy will be there with open arms!💕

  5. Courtney zimmer says:

My prayers go out to family. He knew he was loved and was taught how to love selfishly. He didnt waste a mintue of his life down here. Instead he used the love that he had to show others what love is. He had a big heart and didn’t hesitate to make somone’s day with a laughter. He was a light in the dark to those who need light in there life. He set a example on how we should live our life. He was a example of christ. May your family find peace in this hardship. One day you will see him again and remanice about all the trips that were taken. You will talk about what a good fish fry is and mostly importantly you will never be separated again. I hope this helps in any way.
